In this class you will be continuing to dive into the world of front end development with JavaScript and jQuery, and an introduction to React.js. You’ll be building a new app every week and learning how to build and maintain the technology that powers modern day applications. By the end of the class you will create 6 JavaScript apps, 4 jQuery apps, and a blog using the Github API.

In this class you will learn how the internet works and build your own web pages. You will delve into HTML, CSS, and beginner JavaScript, and learn responsive web design. You will create your own web pages that look good on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. By the end of this class you will be capable of building professional quality websites. This first class is offered at the downtown campus, the north campus, and remotely. Downtown it will begin July 16, and at the north campus and remotely beginning July 9.

The purpose of this course is to teach students how to earn money as a Web Designer. Students will learn the technologies and techniques that will make them stand out and help them find jobs. Students will go through the entire lifecycle of a project which they will deploy and use a portfolio piece, showing it to prospective employers to secure employment.

The purpose of this course is to teach students how to design websites as a freelance web designer or as a web designer for a company. The coursework will cover graphic design, choosing color schemes, crafting User Experience and User Interface, CSS frameworks, building with templates and static page generation.
